Day 1: Introduction and Education
Wear Justice is a week-long event and student-led initiative that challenges us to rethink consumerism through community. We examine the fast fashion industry to raise awareness and action around unethical supply chains and exploitation behind the clothes we wear and products we use. This year the Center for Justice and Reconciliation is bringing Wear Justice to the PLNU community, student, staff, faculty and alumni, with webinars, challenges, and giveaways all in partnership with the Office of Sustainability, ASB, and Alumni Association!
We will have a booth set up by the cafeteria from 12-4 pm! Feel free to stop by to meet some cool people, learn more about the fashion industry, and enter to win prizes!
This is the first day of our week-long clothing drive! We will have bins set up in every residence hall for people to donate any clothes that they do not wear.
We will also educational content and other opportunities on our Instagram!
